Statement and guidelines for church re-opening
sunday, May 31st 9:00am - 10:10am

CCSG Family,

We need to provide a few details about our plans for Sunday morning services during this next phase of the COVID restrictions. First, we ask that everyone moves forward as they feel the Lord leading them and to in no way go against your conscience. This is why we are providing three family-friendly service options at 9:00 a.m. - in-person courtyard service, drive-in parking lot service, and online live-stream service. Here is a brief overview of our plans and requirements:

According to State guidelines, and for the safety of the most vulnerable among us, we would suggest that the elderly and anyone who is immunocompromised join us online or in the parking lot.
If you are sick in any way, please plan to stay home until you are fully recovered.
We are not requiring facemasks, but are highly recommending everyone wear them. We have a small supply of facemasks available if anyone would like to grab one.
We will have a few hand sanitizing stations available for you to use as needed.
Staff and volunteers will be required to wear facemasks, will be temperature checked before service, and will be sticking to a handwashing procedure.

In-person Courtyard Service
9:00 a.m. to 10:10 a.m.

We will spread out families and individuals throughout our courtyard to maintain social distance requirements. Upon arriving, we will have ushers assigned to help get everyone seated. Please be patient with us as this is new and will be a process. It would be a great help if you would plan to arrive early so that we can make sure to get everyone seated on time. While you are waiting to be seated or anytime you are on church property, we ask that you maintain social distancing requirements and avoid shaking hands and hugging. We understand that this is awkward, but we do want to be above reproach by doing our best to adhere to what is being asked of us by our State and Federal governments. Ushers and our security team will be instructed to encourage social distancing while we are on the church property.

Once you are seated, we would ask that you do your best to stay seated throughout the whole service (except if we stand for worship, of course!). Please do not move around. It is also very important that you use the restrooms before you arrive. We will have restrooms available, but please know that this is only for an absolute need. We are required to clean before/after each use and wipe down every surface that people come in contact with. So we cannot facilitate a considerable amount of people using the restrooms.

Once the service is over, we want to encourage fellowship, but please do your best to maintain social distancing by dispersing in the parking lot on your way out. Again, we understand the awkwardness of these requirements, but they are necessary not to draw unwanted government or legal attention, as well as to protect the health of anyone who may have compromised immune systems.

Parking Lot Service
9:00 a.m. to 10:10 a.m.

For those that would like to attend a parking lot service, we will have two options for you. The first option will be to tune in on your radio. The second option will be to live-stream the service to your iPhone, tablet, or computer.

Online Service
9:00 a.m. to 10:10 a.m.

As always, we will continue to stream to Facebook, Vimeo, and our Church website for those who prefer to stay home.

Children's and Youth Ministries

For the first few weeks, we will not be hosting an in-person children's ministry. We will announce plans to open our children's ministry within the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, our CM leaders will continue to pass out an activity pack that pairs with Pastor Trent's message.

Our High School and Jr. High group will be meeting in the main sanctuary so that they can spread out and social distance throughout the whole room. We also highly encourage all of our students to wear a facemask while they are inside. We will live stream the teaching to our Saving Grace High School Facebook page as well for students who are staying home.
